Recommended CPP system On façades the substrate determines the system's adhesion, alkalinity and permeability. Identify it before specifying the finish.
  • Single-coat render Mineral

Highly alkaline and absorbent when new. Requires full curing before painting to avoid saponification.

CPP system: Min. 28-day curing + Focus, Versa or the Horizon range.

  • Exposed concrete Mineral

Low absorbency and exposed to carbonation by CO₂, which depassivates the reinforcement over time.

CPP system: Horizon 100% Acrílico for its anti-carbonation protection.

  • Facing brick Porous

Very uneven absorption between brick and joint. Retains water and promotes efflorescence in the joints.

CPP system: Joint sealing + Horizon Siliconado for its beading effect.

  • Fibre cement Non-porous

Closed, alkaline surface with low absorption. Adhesion depends on correct cleaning and keying.

CPP system: Pressure washing + Focus or Horizon Siliconado.

  • Old stone-effect coatings Textured

Large surface development and risk of surface disintegration. Check cohesion before repainting.

CPP system: Remediation + Horizon Pétreo Liso with a long-pile roller.

  • Previously painted façades Repaint

Check the type of existing paint and its cohesion. Aged, chalking emulsion paints cannot be repainted directly.

CPP system: Adhesion test + Versa or the Horizon range.
