Our history

+20 years of evolution

  1. 2003

    2003: Founding

    Centro de Producción de Pinturas S.L. is founded in Valencia with the participation of 15 manufacturers.

  2. 2005

    2005: Alcorisa plant

    A production plant opens in Alcorisa (Teruel) to manufacture water-based and solvent-based products.

  3. 2006

    2006: Water-based

    Solvent-based products are discontinued. Full focus on more sustainable water-based products.

  4. 2008

    2008: Unipaint Synergies

    We join Unipaint Synergies, a raw-material purchasing group. Economies of scale.

  5. 2013

    2013: CPP Chemical Group

    The Tamayo family acquires 100% of the company and merges in its own chemical plant. CPP Chemical Group is born.

  6. 2014

    2014: Strategic shift

    Production for other manufacturers ends. A focus on private label for large DIY, grocery, building-supply, hardware and professional distribution retailers.

  7. 2018

    2018: Automation

    Investment in automation and the production plant. Production capacity doubled.

    2021: New generation

    A new generation joins the management team. Modernisation, sustainability and digitalisation.

    2025: Plan 2030

    Growing with two models: your brand, made by us, and the CPP own brand for distributors. 2 plants, 30+ brands manufactured and presence in Europe's leading retailers.
