Range 01
Undercoats, finishes and paints for sensitive spaces.
Paints and treatments for all types of interior surfaces, from substrate preparation to the final finish. Formulated to make the job easier, optimise coverage and guarantee long-lasting results.
Compare this rangeEach substrate has specific absorption and adhesion properties. Identify it before choosing the CPP finishing system.
Plaster Porous
Highly absorbent with uneven absorption. If not regulated, the finish loses coverage and differences in sheen appear.
CPP system: Recommended primer «Especial Cartón/Yeso» + finish from the interior range.
Fine plaster (escayola) Compact
Smooth and compact, with limited adhesion. Requires light sanding beforehand to open the pores.
CPP system: Sanding + recommended primer «Especial Cartón/Yeso» + finish from the interior range.
Plasterboard Mixed
Joints and screw points filled before painting; absorption between board and filler is uneven.
CPP system: Filling + recommended primer «Especial Cartón/Yeso» + finish from the interior range.
Concrete and mortar Mineral
Must be dry, clean and dust-free. Recommended minimum curing of 28 days and stabilised alkalinity.
CPP system: Fixing primer + Ultra C40 or Ultra C50.
Previously painted surfaces Repaint
Check cohesion and compatibility. If in good condition, clean and sand; if deteriorated, remove and treat the base.
CPP system: Fixing primer + finish from the interior range.
Gotelé and textured finishes Textured
Large surface development: actual consumption may double the theoretical coverage rate. Check that the texture is not powdery.
CPP system: Fixing primer + Ultra C40 or Ultra C50 applied with a long-pile roller.
Range 02
Acrylics, high durability and mineral finishes.
Paints and coatings for façades and exterior surfaces. Protection, durability and a uniform finish against rain, UV rays, pollution, moisture and temperature changes.
Compare this rangeOn façades the substrate determines the system's adhesion, alkalinity and permeability. Identify it before specifying the finish.
Single-coat render Mineral
Highly alkaline and absorbent when new. Requires full curing before painting to avoid saponification.
CPP system: Min. 28-day curing + Focus, Versa or the Horizon range.
Exposed concrete Mineral
Low absorbency and exposed to carbonation by CO₂, which depassivates the reinforcement over time.
CPP system: Horizon 100% Acrílico for its anti-carbonation protection.
Facing brick Porous
Very uneven absorption between brick and joint. Retains water and promotes efflorescence in the joints.
CPP system: Joint sealing + Horizon Siliconado for its beading effect.
Fibre cement Non-porous
Closed, alkaline surface with low absorption. Adhesion depends on correct cleaning and keying.
CPP system: Pressure washing + Focus or Horizon Siliconado.
Old stone-effect coatings Textured
Large surface development and risk of surface disintegration. Check cohesion before repainting.
CPP system: Remediation + Horizon Pétreo Liso with a long-pile roller.
Previously painted façades Repaint
Check the type of existing paint and its cohesion. Aged, chalking emulsion paints cannot be repainted directly.
CPP system: Adhesion test + Versa or the Horizon range.
Range 03
Elastic, hybrid and polyurethane membranes.
Waterproofing systems for roofs, terraces and exposed elements. Elasticity to follow substrate movement, UV resistance for longevity and different levels of foot traffic depending on the roof's use.
Compare this rangeIn waterproofing the substrate determines whether a primer is needed, how many coats and which membrane. Adhesion is the system's critical point.
Roof concrete and mortar Mineral
Porous and alkaline. Needs full curing and no rising damp; otherwise the membrane blisters when it heats up.
CPP system: Imperblock Imprimación + Antigoteras, Fibrado or Membrana Hybrid.
Aged bituminous membrane Bituminous
Oxidised, with loose gravel and open overlaps. It can bleed through and stain light finishes if not sealed.
CPP system: Overlap repair + Imperblock Antigoteras in 2 cross-applied coats.
Ceramic and stoneware tiles Non-porous
No absorption: without a primer the membrane will not bond. Water ingress concentrates at the joints.
CPP system: Imperblock Imprimación + Fibrado or Membrana Hybrid.
Fibre cement and metal sheeting Non-porous
High thermal expansion and risk of rust at fixings and overlaps. Degrease and treat rust before waterproofing.
CPP system: Rust treatment + Imperblock Fibrado with reinforcing tape at overlaps.
Old acrylic waterproofing Repaint
If it retains cohesion it is a good substrate; if it is powdery or detached it must be removed completely.
CPP system: Adhesion test + reinforcement with Antigoteras or Fibrado.
Parapets, junctions and drains Detail point
They account for 90% of water ingress. Sharp edges and right angles tear the membrane due to lack of radius.
CPP system: Cove fillet, minimum 15 cm upstand and mesh reinforcement.
Range 04
Multi-surface, iron, tile and synthetics.
Water-based and synthetic enamels for wood, iron and special surfaces. Protection against rust and moisture, a high-levelling finish and stable, non-yellowing colour.
Compare this rangeWith enamels adhesion is everything: each substrate requires different preparation and, in some cases, a specific primer.
Iron and steel Metal
Rust and mill scale prevent adhesion. De-rust to grade St2–St3 and remove any grease and dust.
CPP system: Duryon Antioxidante for protection and decoration; Smartcryl for decoration.
Galvanised steel and aluminium Closed metal
Non-porous surface with traces of rolling oil. Without degreasing and priming, the enamel will flake.
CPP system: Degreasing + water-based multi-purpose primer + Duryon range finish.
New wood Porous
Uneven absorption and knots that exude resin. The wood's moisture content must be below 15%.
CPP system: Sanding, knot sealing and priming; Smartcryl or Duryon Profesional finish.
Painted or varnished wood Repaint
Gloss films and varnishes offer no key. Check the adhesion of the existing coat before repainting.
CPP system: Sanding to matt + adhesion test + Duryon Profesional.
PVC and rigid plastics Non-porous
Very low surface tension and high expansion. Requires a specific adhesion primer.
CPP system: Adhesion primer + Smartcryl, after testing on a hidden area.
Wall and ceramic tiles Vitrified
Vitrified, non-absorbent surface exposed to frequent cleaning and bathroom and kitchen moisture.
CPP system: Duryon Azulejos, 2-in-1 primer and finish.
